Second Last Woman on Earth

Rochelle is my girl, and I love her~ I usually play as either her or Coach. Actually I’ll play as anyone except for Nick. Nick!bot has watched me die with glee too many times, I think he has it out for me. Though every time I set the character selection to ‘random’ it gives me Nick, but that doesn’t count.

Soooo…

I’m sure you’ve noticed I haven’t been working on the 30 characters challenge. Welp, with the TF2RP trade deadline closing in, plus I’m working on a comic submission that might end up being a paid job, and the fact that my commission list pretty much exploded over night (not complaining! Christmas money!) I won’t have time to finish.

You all totally know I could do it anyways, right? RIGHT?

Anyways, tea time, then I gotta tackle this mountain of work :D

30 Day Character Challenge Day 12

From a Stompy Boots arc that never got finished.

Bethany Miller works at the comic book store near Kyle's work. Just like Kyle, she's loud and outspoken, though at first glance she doesn't look like she would be. She loves video games and collects posters, joking that her wall looks like a 16 year old boy's not a 25 year old woman's.

She loves unusual colour combos, which she frequently puts together on her hair. Currently, her favorite is pale blue and bright red and/or eggplant.

Beth also has a number of game related tattoos, her favorite being her "halo of the sun" tattoo on her left calf.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 11

Khisath, a house dragon for a royal family. Not really his idea, but you make the best of what you have. The princess seems to be quite the troublemaker and leave to Khisath to pull her out of it every time, lest the king and queen punish him for it.

Still, he loves the princess in the same way one would love a cat that continually scratches the curtains or ruins the furniture.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 10

Aoi”

Loves 80s fashion and clashing colours. Drummer for 1 True Superstitions, and willingly does the glam rock look for lives, even though he feels silly.

Is likely to become a ‘crazy cat person’ when he gets older.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 9

Strazzi, Dryad, earth elemental. Which ever way you want to look at it. Most likely a healer of some sort. She's probably a bit of a loner, and likes animals, like all good earth aligned, tree hugging hippies do.

I love earthy colours. I used to hate browns and greens but I really like using them in my palettes now.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 8

Name : Shinya Watanabe (probably a stage name)
Age : 21
Position : Bass
Band : 1 True Superstition

He's 'one of those'. There's one in every band. Sleeps with everyone, drinks too much and chain smokes like it's his last day on earth. Shinya got his position in the band because his daddy owns the label the band is signed to.

Everyone still seems to be overly tolerant of his laziness and flippant attitude. Wonder why...?

* * *

Yeah, so I'm temporarily skipping the other two characters in "The Warehouse" for now.Was going through my old j-rock stuff and got inspired.

Otafest Lite

This is my table for Otafest Lite! http://www.otafest.com/2010/lite/

I will have mini-prints, bookmarks, doing commissions ALL DAY, plus I will have sign up sheets for digital commissions as well!

30 Day Character Challenge Day 7

Jack Boltan (with Rocky the cat)

Again, another character for another short comic I'm working on (working title is just "The Warehouse") AND another series based off a dream I had. It's a toss up if The Warehouse or Static gets published first.

I'm aware Jack looks a lot like Lloyd. Blame my inability to draw boys.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 6

This guy came into development for the tf2rp before Lloyd did. He was a little too overpowered of a character (mainly pyro, but dabbled in doctoring and engineering) and after a while I realized he wouldn't be much fun to rp with because really, he was pretty gimmicky. In a way he lives on, his first name ended up being Lloyd's middle name. Magnus.

(for those familiar, yes, he does have the hat)

30 Day Character Challenge Day 5

Thief's counterpart Liar. Liar looks as though she has been dipped in tea. She's a lot more mysterious than Thief is, but with a name like Liar, I guess you can't be too surprised.

Again, I do have a mini comic plotted out for these two, I just need to get my arse in gear and work on it.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 4

The girl only known as Thief. First foray into watercolours since college, whoo hoo!

She's going to be used in a short story coming up so I won't get into too many details, but I'm glad to FINALLY have a coloured picture of Thief. Tomorrow I will probably do her counterpart "Liar"

30 Day Character Challenge Day 3

Hobo Chef. Just Hobo Chef.

I had a dream about this guy and I so want to use him for a kids' book or something.

His whole deal is he challenges you to a cooking competition, Iron Chef style! Then when you're good and distracted, he steals your fridge.

Hobo Chef probably is a really good cook, for what it's worth.

Am I allowed to use the word hobo these days, or is that not PC? It just has a nice ring to it.

Everyone so far is facing left. Gotta change it up for next time.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 2

Story : N/A
Name : "Red Flag"
Race : Human (??)

The city where she hails from consider her somewhat of a vigilante. She always manages to show up at the right place at the right time. Though there are no police reports detailing her subduing foes, it's obvious that she's gotten into a number of scuffles. No one's been able to pin down who she is, or how to find her, and a number question if she's even human or not.

Appearance : Shaved head, pale, almost white/grey eyes. She's about 5'8 and has a very lithe, agile figure. She has numerous cuts and scars on practically every inch of her, leaving many to question how she stays hidden so well. She fancies black, clothing, and heavy boots, but keeps her face covered by a long red scarf. For the first couple of months as a vigilante, she was mistaken for a boy.

Personality : No one knows, as Red Flag never speaks. Very much the strong silent type. Privately, she doesn't try to blend in with regular people, and enjoys the company of animals in the place of humans. In regards to people, she much prefers to observe everything, and loves watching them go about their lives more than anything else in the world. Every once in a while something happens to upset her watching, and that is when Red Flag feels the need to step in.

30 Day Character Challenge Day 1

So since I don't participate in NaNoWriMo, I decided to take up another challenge, the 30 day character challenge!

A lot of this is just kind of useless information to the average viewer, but if I ever get this project off the ground, it will all make sense! I swear!

Story : Minoahn Project (title not final)
Name : Niktu (closest English pronunciation)
Race : Yuranos

Appearance : Tall, as far as Yuranos go, standing at nearly 4 feet tall (the average is about 3'4), and is considered to be in peak shape. Its beak is an almost pure silver colour, which is unusual, since most Yuranos' beaks are either deep blue or black. For this reason, Niktu does not attend hunts, since the sheen of the beak would alert prey.

Personality : Curious to a fault, especially around new or alien people. In its homeland in the deep pools, Niktu is somewhat of a maintenance worker. Its main job to make sure everything's well lit, everything's working and most importantly, everything's clean. Yuranos, by nature, are fairly clean, but Niktu in particular is fussy about cleanliness.
